New service from LAPP: Cable Circuit Configurator

As part of the SPS IPC Drives 2018 exhibition, which took place at the end of last month, LAPP introduced a new online service for its customers - the ÖLFLEX® CONNECT CHAIN configurator.

ÖLFLEX® CONNECT system solutions include a range of products and services: from packaged cables and cable assemblies and ready-made solutions for connecting servo motors to high-speed cable circuits equipped with cables and hoses.

The ÖLFLEX® CONNECT CHAIN configurator allows you to select a cable chain or a fully ready-to-connect solution based on a cable chain in just a few minutes. The configurator takes into account many criteria, including such as operating conditions, length and speed of movement, minimum bending radius. At each stage, the user is offered only components that are compatible with each other, which eliminates the possibility of error. For example, if you select a cable with a minimum bending radius that does not match the circuit parameters, the configurator will display a warning message and suggest other cable options. 

Upon completion of the selection, the client receives a drawing of the cable chain and a personalized commercial offer, and can choose the delivery option of the solution: assembled and ready to connect or as separate components with a cable of the desired length. LAPP technicians will additionally check the drawing and make edits if necessary. The client will see the edits to the drawing in the form of a new version of the solution in his personal account.
