SKINTOP® HYGIENIC
Stainless steel cable gland for use in the food and beverage industry
The new stainless steel Pintop® HYGIENIC cable gland is suitable for direct contact with food in production. Its suitability for use in food production is confirmed by certificates from ECOLAB®, and the design of the structure that meets EHEDG requirements.
Three key characteristics that make sure that SKINTOP® HYGIENIC can be easily cleaned and that allow it to be used in accordance with the strictest sanitary and hygienic standards: shape, precision of fit and material of manufacture. The rounded shape without edges and corners, the precision of fitting with a very low tolerance in production means that dirt has nowhere to accumulate. The material used for the production of SKINTOP® HYGIENIC is stainless steel of class V4A (1.4404), all this guarantees long-term resistance to difficult environmental conditions. Food-safe insulating materials are also used. A special elastomer, which is used for insulation, guarantees an extremely high degree of load reduction when the cable is stretched.
SKINTOP® HYGIENIC cable glands are available in sizes M 16 x 1.5 and M 20 x 1.5 since January 2015.
