An intelligent and enthusiastic businessman from a family of entrepreneurs. Andreas Lapp, born in 1956, is the chairman of Lapp Holding AG, based in Stuttgart.
Together with his brother Siegbert, he used his talent to accurately identify the needs of the global market. As a result, Lapp Group became the vanguard of global players in the shortest period of time. Today, the company includes 57 individual companies and about 100 local branches and is one of the world leaders in the production and supply of flexible cables, cable accessories, industrial connectors and packaged cables.
Andreas's business-like mindset has been cultivated by him since childhood. His parents and Lapp Group founders Ursula Ida and Oscar Lapp raised him from an early age so that he would inherit the company in the future.
Andreas Lapp studied law and business management in Tübingen, near Stuttgart in southwestern Germany, and took over the management of the company shortly after his father's death in 1987. He is married and has three children.
Andreas Lapp also acts as Honorary Consul of the Republic of India in the German federal states of Baden-Württemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate.
