Social responsibility is not only a tradition of the LAPP family but also a core tradition of the company. We support a wide range of social initiatives and organizations in the communities surrounding our locations. At LAPP, globalization and a strong sense of community go hand in hand. Since the very beginning, active engagement in social responsibility has been an integral part of the corporate culture of our family-owned company, regardless of market changes, strategic developments, or organizational adjustments.

LAPP has firmly embedded social responsibility into its operational processes and corporate culture. We are committed to creating an environment that fosters ethical behavior, social responsibility, and sustainable practices. By encouraging our employees to engage in socially responsible initiatives, we aim to create a positive impact both within our organization and in the communities around us. Our goal is for 100% of LAPP companies to implement at least one social project every year.

Diversity is a cornerstone of LAPP’s success. We leverage the diversity of cultural backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives within our workforce to ensure our long-term success. For this reason, we are committed to creating an environment that values and promotes intercultural cooperation, communication, and understanding.

To support this commitment, we provide training for managers on topics such as anti-discrimination, prevention of bullying, and harassment awareness in order to increase understanding of these important issues.

Our goal is for at least 75% of managers to complete training in these key areas.

LAPP is a signatory of the Diversity Charter (Charta der Vielfalt), which promotes the recognition, appreciation, and inclusion of diversity in the workplace.
